Am I a candidate for dental implants?
Most adults with a missing tooth — or teeth — are candidates for dental implants. The best way to confirm suitability is a clinical assessment, which Dr. Pratik Pipalia conducts at your first consultation. That said, here are the most common situations where implants are the right solution:
Implant + crown replaces one tooth completely without touching neighbours.
Implant bridge or individual implants restore any number of gaps.
All-on-4 or All-on-6 gives you a full fixed arch in days.
Plan the implant at the same time as removal for a badly decayed or broken tooth.
Implant-supported dentures or fixed All-on-4 ends denture problems.
Implants actively help prevent bone loss after tooth removal.
Bone loss after a missing tooth is common, but it does not automatically rule out implants. Depending on how much bone remains and where, options include bone grafting, sinus lift procedures, basal implants, pterygoid implants, or zygomatic implants — all of which Dr. Pratik routinely assesses. A CBCT scan gives a precise picture of your bone volume before any decision is made.
See our dedicated pages on Basal Implants, Pterygoid Implants, and Zygomatic Implants for poor bone cases.
Uncontrolled diabetes, active gum disease, heavy smoking, or certain medications may affect healing and require management before implant placement. These are not permanent barriers — they are factors your consultation will address directly and honestly.
Not all tooth replacement needs are the same. Below are the implant solutions we offer — each matched to a specific clinical situation. Dr. Pratik Pipalia will recommend the right option for you based on your bone condition, the number of missing teeth, and your goals.
Option 1

Single Tooth Implant / Crown / Bridge
When one tooth is missing, a single implant post is placed in the gap and a custom ceramic crown is attached on top. The result is indistinguishable from a natural tooth — same colour, shape, and function. Critically, no adjacent teeth are touched, preserving their natural structure.
Option 2
Where two or more adjacent teeth are missing, an implant bridge uses two implants as anchor points with crowns in between — no healthy teeth need to be filed down, unlike a conventional bridge.
Option 3

What is All-on-4?
All-on-4 uses four strategically placed implants to support a complete arch of fixed teeth. Two implants are placed upright at the front; two are angled at the rear to maximise contact with available bone — often eliminating the need for bone grafting. Provisional fixed teeth are delivered within 3 to 5 days of surgery.
Option 4

What is All-on-6?
All-on-6 follows the same principle as All-on-4 but uses six implants per arch for greater load distribution. It is particularly suited to patients with higher bite forces, broader arch forms, or those who want maximum long-term stability. The patient experience and timeline are identical to All-on-4.
Option 5
Complete rehabilitation of both the upper and lower arch. Planned using CBCT imaging for precise implant positioning, optimal bite, and a natural final appearance. Can be delivered as All-on-4, All-on-6, or a combination depending on each arch's bone condition.
Option 6

Implant-Supported Denture
Two to four implants anchor a denture firmly in position — no adhesives, no slipping, no embarrassment. Unlike a conventional denture that rests on the gums and allows the underlying bone to deteriorate, an implant-supported denture preserves bone while dramatically improving confidence and chewing ability.

Basal vs conventional implants — explained.
Patients researching implants often encounter the basal vs conventional debate online, usually framed as one being superior to the other. The reality is more nuanced: both systems work well — when used for the right patient. At Aarogyam Dental, Dr. Pratik Pipalia is trained and experienced in both, and the choice is always based on your bone condition, not protocol preference.
Conventional implants are placed in the cancellous (spongy) bone of the jaw. They require a minimum volume of healthy bone to achieve stable primary fixation. Where bone volume is adequate, conventional implants have a four-decade evidence base, predictable outcomes, and the widest range of prosthetic options.
Basal implants anchor in the cortical (dense outer) bone and basal bone further from the crest of the jaw — bone that remains stable even when the upper layers have been lost. Loading with teeth is possible within days.
| Conventional Implants | Basal Implants | |
|---|---|---|
| Bone anchor | Crestal / cancellous bone | Cortical / basal bone |
| Bone graft needed? | Sometimes | Rarely |
| Teeth delivery | 8–14 weeks | 3–5 days |
| Evidence base | 40+ years globally | 2+ decades, growing |
| Suitable for poor bone? | Limited | Yes — primary indication |
| Who chooses this? | Good bone, no rush | Poor bone or immediate teeth needed |
| At Aarogyam | Available | Available |
Dr. Pratik will recommend one system — or a combination — based entirely on what your CBCT scan and clinical assessment show. There is no financial incentive to favour one over the other. The goal is always the best long-term outcome for you.

Dr. Pratik will walk you through every line of your estimate at consultation so there are no surprises.

At Aarogyam Dental, every implant case follows a structured, research-backed protocol developed and refined over more than a decade of clinical practice. Here is exactly what to expect from the first call to the final result.
Your journey begins with a conversation. Dr. Pratik Pipalia takes time to understand your dental history, concerns, and goals. A clinical examination is carried out, and if required, you are referred for a CBCT scan — a detailed 3D image of your jawbone, nerves, and sinuses that allows precise implant planning before any surgery.
Using the assessment findings, Dr. Pratik prepares a complete treatment plan: number of implants, brand recommendation, prosthesis type, and timeline. You receive a written, itemised cost estimate before agreeing to anything. There is no pressure and no obligation.
Implant placement is performed under local anaesthesia. With guided implant planning in use, the procedure is executed with precision — the implant is placed exactly where it was digitally planned. Most patients describe the experience as far more comfortable than they expected. Single-tooth cases take 45 to 90 minutes; full-arch surgeries take two to three hours per arch. You leave the same day.
Over the following weeks, your jawbone naturally grows around and fuses with the titanium implant surface — this is osseointegration. For conventional implants this takes 8 to 12 weeks. During this phase you will have a temporary restoration so you are never without teeth. Dr. Pratik monitors healing at scheduled follow-up visits.
For basal implants and immediate loading cases, the prosthesis is placed within 3–5 days — osseointegration occurs simultaneously with the implant under functional load.
Once healing is confirmed, a digital scan of your jaw is taken and sent for CAD-CAM fabrication. The final crown or full-arch prosthesis is crafted to match your bite precisely and placed at your final appointment. You leave with your permanent smile.
Periodic check-ups keep your implant performing at its best for decades. Aarogyam Dental provides a long-term warranty on implants placed — the terms of which are explained at your consultation. With consistent oral hygiene and annual reviews, your implant is designed to last a lifetime.

Aarogyam Dental's tagline is not marketing language — it reflects how every implant case is approached. The following technologies are integral to the planning, placement, and prosthetic stages of your treatment.
A Cone Beam CT scan produces a complete three-dimensional image of your jawbone, including bone density, height, width, nerve position, and sinus proximity — removing guesswork before surgery begins.
Position, angulation, and depth of each implant are mapped on your CBCT data before the surgical date — translating into better outcomes and a more comfortable procedure.
Your crown, bridge, or full-arch prosthesis is designed and milled with CAD-CAM technology for a fit and finish not achievable by conventional laboratory methods alone.
Every surgical procedure uses a painless delivery anaesthesia technique — the injection itself is virtually imperceptible for most patients.
“Technology should make implant care clearer, safer, and more comfortable — never more complicated for the patient.”

The success of your implant over the first few weeks depends significantly on how you care for the surgical site. Following these instructions reduces the risk of infection, speeds healing, and gives your implant the best chance of lasting a lifetime.
Dental Implants are artificial tooth roots made of titanium, surgically placed in the jawbone to support crowns, bridges, or dentures for a permanent tooth replacement solution.
Implant placement typically takes 1-2 hours. The full process, including crown placement, may span a few days to few months (depending upon the system), ensuring a strong foundation and natural integration.
Local anesthesia is used during implant placement, ensuring a pain-free procedure. Post-surgery discomfort is manageable with prescribed medications and typically subsides within a few days.
Maintain good oral hygiene with regular brushing, flossing, and dental check-ups. Treat implants like natural teeth for long-term success.
In general, most individuals with good oral and overall health are candidates for Dental Implants. A thorough examination and consultation will determine your eligibility.
Dental Implant costs start from ₹11,999. Our team will provide a personalized quote during your consultation, taking into account your specific needs and treatment plan.
With proper care, Dental Implants can last for very long time. Regular dental check-ups and adherence to oral hygiene practices contribute to the longevity of the implant-supported restoration.
Single tooth implants at Aarogyam Dental start from ₹17,999. All-on-4 full-arch implants start from ₹2,65,000 per arch. Full mouth treatment (both arches) starts from ₹5,25,000. The final cost depends on the implant brand, number of implants, and whether preparatory procedures like bone grafting are required. A written, itemised estimate is given at your consultation before any commitment.

Dental implants at Aarogyam Dental are performed by Dr. Pratik Pipalia — BDS, MDS, and PhD Scholar in Dental Implants at Saveetha Dental College and Hospital, the #1 ranked dental institution in India. Insufficient bone does not automatically rule out implants. Depending on how much bone remains, options include bone grafting, sinus lift procedures, basal implants (which anchor in denser cortical and basal bone), or zygomatic implants (which anchor in the cheekbone). Dr. Pratik assesses bone volume using CBCT imaging and recommends the most appropriate technique for your specific anatomy.
Conventional implants are placed in the crestal (upper) jawbone and require adequate bone height and width. They have a 40-year global evidence base and are the standard choice for patients with good bone. Basal implants anchor in the deeper cortical bone that remains stable even after significant bone loss — they are typically loaded with teeth within 3 days and rarely require bone grafting. At Aarogyam Dental, Dr. Pratik is trained in both systems and recommends based on your bone condition, not preference.
If you are considering dental implants in Anjar, Gandhidham, the first step is a conversation. Dr. Pratik Pipalia will assess your situation, answer every question honestly, and give you a clear picture of what treatment involves — including an exact written cost estimate — before you decide anything.
